Understand a new role before the first candidate call
Job Role Insights is a Quick Action in Chat with ReCo. One click and ReCo reads the job description and your Session Guide, then explains what the role actually is, which areas to screen on, the signals of a strong fit and where to probe harder. You get up to speed on an unfamiliar function without writing a prompt or pasting the brief into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Here is how I read this role.
What the role actually is. A Product Manager owning business onboarding at Klarna sits between growth targets and a regulated flow: activation rates on one side, KYC and compliance interpretation on the other. Candidates who describe the job as roadmap execution are usually describing a smaller role than this one.
The four lenses I would screen on
- Scope ownership - did they own an outcome, or a backlog someone else prioritised? Ask what they killed, not what they shipped.
- Stakeholder complexity - look for a story where compliance said no and the candidate found the third option.
- Decision-making in ambiguity - a decision made without the data they wanted, and how they instrumented it afterwards.
- Measurable outcomes - ask for the baseline, the lever, and how they separated their impact from parallel work.
Where I would probe harder. People management is often the gap: mentoring one junior PM is not the same as owning performance for five. Ask what feedback they have given that a person did not want to hear.

From a job description to criteria and first questions
What Job Role Insights and one follow-up question turn a job description into. Synthetic example; the recruiter confirms the criteria with the client.
ReCo knows what is in the job description, your Session Guide and your notes. The hiring manager's unwritten expectations, the team setup and the real budget still come from the client.
Better questions start with understanding the role
Recruiters often interview for functions they have never done themselves. The first call is easier when you know what good looks like.
